Despite the negative backlash received from the recent announcement that heated seats would now be an $18 monthly subscription, BMW has doubled down on their new business model and introduced their latest subscription feature: steering. Without a mostly payment, drivers will only be able to point their car in the appropriate direction, hit the gas, and pray that there are no obstacles.

“BMW is excited to be able to offer this feature at such a competitive rate to our customers” exclaimed a BWM spokesman, “We believe that instead of forcing people to use the features built into the car they bought, we should give them the opportunity to pay us to turn them on. Instead of paying $50,000 for a whole car, you can now have the vehicle at $48,000 and add steering for just $1,000 a month!”

When asked about the potential danger of drivers who opt to not have steering included he responded that he could not even fathom a BMW customer who would not want to take advantage of this incredible deal and the chance to show off that they bought every option available. “Absolutely no-one who owns a BMW would be willing to show that they couldn’t afford an extra feature”, he continued, “We are certain that our driver’s egos could never take such a massive blow”.

Though only rumors at this time, there are reports that in the near future BMW plans to widen it's subscription based feature line to include: Windows, Seats, Mirrors, Headlights, Signals, and Breaks.
