On the morning of July 14th civilization came to an abrupt end as the world awoke to find that Twitter was down.
Cats and dogs were found living together, airplanes started falling from the sky, and Only Fans ‘creators’ began questioning their lifestyle.
With the world in upheaval people took the the streets, leaving their homes for the first time since Twitter was founded in 2006. “All is lost!” Cried out one influencer, who for the first time in her life, asked to remain anonymous. [hint: it was Tana Mongeau] Some users were even spotted engaging in real-world tweeting where they actually said words to one another in person, restricted to 160 characters or fewer.
Finally after nearly 30 minutes of devastation users began finding that their accounts were once again functioning. The survivors of the ordeal quickly retreated back to their parent's basements to resume their online lives of wealth and luxury. The devastation left in the wake of this catastrophe may never leave the memories of those who lived to see it. But at least, now that order is restored to the world, they will be able to recount the tales of the day the world ended to their followers, at a very reasonable rate of $5 per tweet.
