Texas Governor Greg Abbot announced Tuesday morning that he will learn from Martha's Vineyard and their incredible success in streamlining the illegal immigrant deportation process. The Massachusetts Island set a new record, deporting their entire illegal immigrant population in just 44 hours.
"If we had known that the democrats were sitting on the secret to rapid deportation all this time we would have been collaborating with them on this years ago" announced Abbot, "We clearly have so much to learn about this process from following their example".
As part of his promise to streamline deportations a la Martha's Vineyard, Abbot has imposed a new 48 hour limit for new illegals to be removed. While some have noted that he is being far more generous with their time in the country than The Vineyard was, Abbot noted that when scaling a 50 immigrant deportation program for an estimated 1.6 million, some accommodations needed to be made as the program was sure to hit a few snags along the way.
